I was playing my new Lord of the Rings Xbox game...
Mum: "So are you Gandalf, are you?"
Me: "Yeah... Wow, Mum, you're so smart! You haven't even played this game, and you know who he is!!"
Mum: "Yeah. It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that this game is based on a movie, which I've seen. Or that the movie was based on a book that I've not only read, but was named after... No, you're right, Jays... I'm just smart."

Why do you need a house? So you don’t get wet every time it rains. And to watch TV and have computers and Xbox.

I’ve got the chicken box. Chicken boxes are like boxes but they’re not. Chicken box are little hump things. They are little spots. There’s a chicken in my bed. It bites you. I stayed at home. I went to the doctors. The doctor said “You’ve got chicken pox what.”

Hello Grandad,
How are you? Um... What are you doing? Um... I was going to Nana and Poppa’s. Um... I played on the slippery slide. I stepped on the blue things. Um... I walked on the bridge. And I slipped down the slippery thing. And I was climbing up the round thing. Um... I went flying on the swing. And I had fun. I played with my car. And I had so much fun.
At kindy I played with the dinosaurs. And I was playing in the sandpit. And I went running. I was playing on... I went sliding down the slide!
I was having lunch. Mummy went to do the dishes. And then Mummy came out and said “It’s not four o’clock yet.” I made Poppa a card. Because Mummy was helping me. I was writing. Because it was Poppa’s birthday. Poppa is old because he is 41. We were writing on Poppa’s card. And we put stickers on Poppa’s card. And then we sat in the car.
I love you.

I love you.
I played at Nana and Poppa’s. And I was reading the books at Poppa’s. And there was nothing to do to talk to Grandad. I was feeding the horses and looking for the bugs. I was feeding them. They eat grass. Um… I saw a horse in the river with Grandad. The horses are the same ones that are in the river...like the same size as the horse that is in the river. There’s two horses and their names are... I don’t know what their names are. They’re brown. Or black. They’re black. Black. Black. Yup. They’re black.
I founded some bugs. And that’s enough of talking to Grandad.

I went to sleep for a nap and when I woke up, Uncle Aaron and Uncle Nick were here!
Then Daddy and Uncle Aaron and Uncle Nick went for a walk to get pizza for dinner and Mummy and I stayed home and talked to Grandma on the phone.
Then Daddy and Uncle Aaron and Uncle Nick came home with the pizza and we ate the pizza.
Now Daddy and Uncle Aaron and Uncle Nick and Jeff are going out. Mummy's on the computer. :)

It was my birthday today! We went swimming!
And Julie and Nigel were there, and Nigel went swimming with his dad and me and Mum. And Grandma and Grandad came and Grandma went swimming with me too! And Chelsea and Richard came too and they went swimming! And then D'Andre and his mum and dad came and they didn't go swimming but they gave me a present. It was fire engine shoes! And Chelsea set up this slide while Mum and Dad were cooking lunch and we rolled little balls down the slides. That was fun!
And Julie and Nigel gave me a truck, but D'Andre wanted to play with the truck. Oh, and Grandma gave me a giraffe.
I ate lots of birthday cake. It was Nemo! Nemo on Jayden's birthday cake!
And I ate chips and I had a drink and a sausage. And then we went in the car, and then we went home.

Last night me and Mummy and Daddy went out. We went to the park and there were lots of people there!! Lots and lots!! There was fireworks!!!!! Yay!! I love fireworks!! Grandma and Grandad were there and some other people too. It was good.
Tonight there are some people coming to our house. Daddy says there will be some kids for me to play with. I wonder if I will like them.

I'm almost 3 years old! Yay! That means it's my birthday next month. Mum thought we could go to the hot pools like we did last year, since it's probably been that long since we've been there. You wanna come too?

Mum says we'll try to be there from 11am on. We were going to have it on the Sunday, but Daddy is working that day. Since he missed out last year, we thought we'd better have it on a day he can make it this year. :) So it's on a Saturday. Grandma and Grandad said they should be able to make it, and Godmother Chelsea and Richard can come, so that's a good start. I hope Nana and Poppa can come too. And you!
Nana and Poppa are in Fiji this week, so Mum has Nana's car. We haven't gone anywhere much in it though cos I've been at Julie's all day. Maybe tomorrow, cos I'm not at Julie's tomorrow. I hope Mum remembered to invite Julie and Nigel to the hot pools.

We went out to Aunty Andrea's house last night. Mummy and I looked after Callum while Daddy went and saw Grandma and Grandad. Aunty Andrea and Uncle Brent weren't home. It was just me and Mummy and Callum. Callum was kinda boring and if I made loud noises he started to cry. Mum didn't pay much attention to me cos she was busy with Callum but it wasn't too bad. I saw the fish and played with Callum's toys and had some lollies and had a sandwich and some milk. Mummy says Callum is fat. He can't walk or talk yet. And he still drinks from a bottle. He's only little. He's kinda cute though. After ages, Daddy came and Chelsea and Richard came too and finally Aunty Andrea came and we went home. I think I fell asleep in the car.
